Terms of Service
Effective August 11, 2026 · Excelza is operated by MultiMuse Media Inc.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Excelza (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. Excelza is operated by MultiMuse Media Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), a corporation incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Excelza. When you create an account you are asked to confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Your Account
3.1 Registration
To use Excelza you must create an account with an accurate email address. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
3.2 Account Security
Notify us immediately at hello@excelza.app if you believe someone else has accessed your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Deleting Your Account
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your projects, tasks, notes, posts, and profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
4. What Excelza Does
Excelza turns a goal you describe into a structured plan — stages and tasks you can work through, reshape, and track. Parts of that plan are generated using artificial intelligence, as described in Section 5.
5. AI-Generated Content
5.1 How It Works
When you create a project, ask for a task to be broken down, or reshape a plan, the text you write is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. See our Privacy Policy for who that provider is and how your text is handled.
5.2 AI Output Is a Suggestion, Not Advice
Plans, task breakdowns, and guidance produced by Excelza are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. They are suggestions, not professional advice. Do not rely on Excelza for medical, legal, financial, psychological, or safety-critical decisions. Always apply your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
5.3 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for what you choose to do with a plan Excelza generates. We do not guarantee any outcome, result, or achievement.
5.4 Availability
AI features depend on third-party services and usage limits. They may be unavailable, rate-limited, or changed at any time.
6. Your Content
6.1 What You Create
"Your Content" means everything you put into Excelza: goals, project titles, stages, tasks, notes, calendar entries, photos, profile details, posts you share, and replies you write.
6.2 Your Ownership
You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process it solely to operate the App for you — for example, to show your plan back to you, to deliver a post to people you shared it with, and to send your text to our AI provider when you ask for a plan. We do not use Your Content for marketing or promotion without your separate permission.
6.3 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have the rights to it and that it does not violate any law or these Terms.
6.4 Content We May Remove
We may — but are not obliged to — remove content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, and may do so without notice where necessary.
7. Sharing and the Community Feed
Excelza is private by default. A project is visible only to you unless you choose to share it. You control sharing in two ways:
- Invited viewers: people you specifically invite to follow a project
- Posts: progress updates you choose to publish, which may appear in the community feed
Anything you post is visible to others and may be seen, reacted to, and replied to. Do not post anything you would not want seen. Replies and reactions from other people are their content, not ours, and we do not endorse them.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Excelza to:
- Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory
- Post content that infringes anyone's intellectual property rights
- Post content that is sexually explicit, exploitative, or harmful to minors
- Impersonate any person, business, or entity
- Spam, scrape, or use automated tools without our written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its infrastructure
- Distribute malware, phishing, or fraudulent content
- Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or misuse the AI features to produce prohibited content
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
8.1 Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users
Excelza has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Objectionable content includes, without limitation, harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, and anything else prohibited by these Terms or our Community Guidelines. You can report content or block a user at any time using the in-app tools, or email us at hello@excelza.app. We review reports and act on them — including removing content and removing the users responsible — within 24 hours.
9. Subscriptions and Payments
9.1 Excelza Plus
Excelza offers an optional paid subscription ("Excelza Plus") that unlocks additional features — for example unlimited active projects, roadmap reshaping, and unlimited step-by-step task breakdowns. The current price, billing period (monthly or yearly), and what is included are always shown in the App before you purchase.
9.2 Billing and Renewal
Excelza Plus is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store. Payment is processed by Apple and governed by Apple's terms; we never see or store your payment details. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple account settings; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Plus access until then.
9.3 Complimentary Access and Trials
New accounts may receive a limited period of complimentary access to Plus features. No payment method is required for this access, and it never converts into a paid subscription automatically — when it ends, your account simply moves to the free tier. Anything you created remains yours.
9.4 When a Subscription or Trial Ends
Your content is never deleted because a subscription or complimentary period ends. Features beyond the free tier's limits simply become unavailable until you subscribe; everything you made stays visible and yours.
9.5 Fair Use
Features described as "unlimited" are subject to reasonable fair-use limits designed to prevent abuse and keep Excelza sustainable — for example, monthly ceilings on AI generations set far above typical use. If you reach a fair-use limit, the feature becomes available again as the period rolls over. We may adjust these limits over time.
9.6 Refunds
Unless required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple through their standard process.
10. Intellectual Property
The Excelza name, logo, branding, and app design are the intellectual property of MultiMuse Media Inc.. You may not use or imitate them without our written permission. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.
11. Third-Party Services
Excelza relies on third-party services to operate, and may link to others. We are not responsible for their content, practices, or terms.
12. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW, MULTIMUSE MEDIA INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF CAD $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under consumer protection legislation.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MultiMuse Media Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, they shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice in the App. Continuing to use Excelza after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
